Reality Bites

Thursday was my first day back to work. I was OK at work, but that is because I cried Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday every time I looked at Caleb. Caleb is staying with my mom -- we are so lucky. There is not anyone in this world that I trust more to keep my child than my mom (other than Michael!). One thing I have learned the past 2 days --- it is MUCH harder to get 2 people up, dressed and out the door than it is to get 1 person.

My first 2 days back to work have been OK -- my kids are kinda scared of me because I came in and I meant business. I think they have been having a pretty good time the past 13 weeks. :) That has worked in my favor -- they have been working and following the rules quite nicely. :)

This weekend is a 3 day weekend - YAY! I think I timed this one pretty good....

I'm glad your kids are being good for you. I am sure it was so hard to go back to work. Yuck!

I hated going back to work...both times, but it gets easier, I swear.
Besides, when he is a toddler you will realize that in someways a classroom full of children is more restful than your own house. Or maybe that is just my crazy house! :)

Welcome to the world of a working mom. It is quite the balancing act. I agree- it is SO much easier when you get to leave them with your parents. Now the game is called "keeping up" as you try to keep all your ships afloat!
