Happy Father's Day!

My dad is funny in a funny sort of way. If you know him this makes perfect sense. He has always made me laugh. always. He works hard...too hard if you ask me ;) He loves to play golf and watch Georgia football. He is extremelly proud of his wife, children and grandchildren. He has a special way of making those he loves feel very special without making it too obvious. He is happiest when he is surrounded by his family, and watching sports. ;) He is a great story teller, however, sometimes they take WAYYYY too long to tell. My dad is a wonderful man. My dad loves my mom. He loves his kids. He loves his grandchildren. My dad is one heck of a "Guy." That's his name....Guy! :)

I love you! Happy Father's Day!

Michael is the love of my life and Caleb's hero :) He makes us laugh every day. He loves to chase Caleb around the house. He loves to show Caleb how to tackle and do "boy" things. He loves to watch and play "beisball" with Caleb, and "wok" him before bed. He works so hard so that we can have all of the things we need (and want!!). Being a daddy has softened his heart. There's just something about that little boy that melts him every time....

He reads stories to Caleb thousands of times, loves to give him "red belly," (that's when he tickles him on his tummy), and he likes when I pack him a lunch. He has big dreams for Caleb, a heart full of love, and a passion for golf, photography ad Georgia football that I can only try to understand :). Michael loves me, he loves Caleb, and he loves the Lord. What a blessing to know that our son will grow up with such a wonderful example of a husband and a father.
Thank you Michael for being the BEST daddy! Caleb adores you and so do I!

I love you more than ever! Happy Father's Day

Nannah goes to Loganville

Sunday night and all day Monday Nannah (aka: Savannah) was with us. Nannah, as Caleb says, is Caleb's cousin that is 10 1/2 months younger than him. She is my sister's daughter. We had an absolute BLAST with Nannah, but this is one worn out mommy!!! We were very busy, and needless to say, the kids had great afternoon naps! We can't wait for Nannah to come back soon...as soon as I get some rest!

While Nannah was here, she and Caleb....

ate breakfast together...yummy...pancakes and peaches!
Caleb showed Nannah how to stack cups...

Nannah showed Caleb how to play basketball.
She made herself right at home. :)
Then we went swinnin' (swimming) with Aunt Kim and Sara.

We thought she looked like Laura Ingles here!

The kiddos took long naps, and when they woke up Caleb told Nannah all about his choo-choos. I think she liked them. :)
Then Caleb was a sweet cousin and gave Nannah "love."

Then Nannah and Caleb had to take a bath...and had a big time!

Add ImageThey played a little more, and then it was time for Nannah to head to Grandmommy's house.

We had a wonderful time with Nannah, and can't wait for her to come back soon! And yes, Savannah, your auntie loves you very much!

Busy Spring

Even though I have done a few posts here and there, I feel like there are many things we have done that I haven't blogged about. Here is what the Anderson's have been up to this Spring...

Caleb loves, and I mean LOVES, Buddy the cat. Every day when we come home from school this is how Caleb says hello to good 'ole Buddy. This last for about 2-3 minutes. Buddy is so very patient.
April 16th we celebrated Daddy's birthday. He turned 28. He is MUCH older than mommy who is still only 27. :)

Sare-rar (Sara) and Daydis (Davis) spent the night with us. Caleb idolizes his big cousins, and loves when they come and visit. He played beisball (baseball) with Davis, and Sara read him some of his favorite bouks (books) before ni-ni (night, night 0r bedtime). :)

Caleb said "See you in August" to our nanny, Ms. Ann. It was a rough beginning, but I could not have been happier with Caleb spending his days with Ms. Ann. He loves her and all of his friends there. There are days when he doesn't even want to leave! It makes my mommy guilt not quite so bad because I know she loves him and he has a blast while he is there.

Over Memorial Day Weekend we headed down to Panama City Beach for a mini vacation, and a wedding of a family friend. We were so excited to take Caleb to the beach, and Michael had dreams of spending hours on the beach with Caleb building sandcastles. Well, it didn't quite happen that way. Caleb hated, no loathed, the sand, and wanted to have NOTHING to do with it. He preferred the pool...yup, he's my kid! Overall, we had a wonderful time and the wedding was perfect! Enjoy!

Whew! I think that catches us up for the Spring. Now on to our summer adventures!!!

The best $7 I ever spent...

Back in February I bought this for Caleb...

It has been too cold, but this weekend we busted it out.

We had one sad little boy when it was time to go in for dinner.

So, if you are looking for us this summer, we'll be in the backyard.
