There's a Party in Your City!
Saturday afternoon, Michael and I took Caleb to his first concert...Yo Gabba Gabba! Caleb loves Yo Gabba Gabba, and so when the tickets went on sale in May we were the first to buy our tickets. :) We went with my sister, Russ, and Savannah, as well as 3 other families and their children. I was worried Caleb was going to freak out with the noise and screaming, and he did at first, but once he saw who it was and they started singing familiar songs, he was good to go. He sat, for the entire hour and a half (plus a 20 minute intermission) and watched in pure amazement. My sister had shirts made for he and Savannah, and so they looked the part and had a blast! Here are some pictures from Caleb's first concert. :)

2 years old
Yesterday my baby turned 2. I can hardly believe it. He is such and blessing to Michael and I. We love him more than we thought ever possible. He is growing up to be such a loving, funny, and talkative little boy. I could go on and on about this little boy, so I won't bore you with all that. :)
I do, however, want to let you know what a 2 year old Caleb is up to...
At 2, Caleb loves...
BASEBALL - he plays ALL.DAY.LONG!
to talk...he loves to talk about anything and everything. His newest phrase is I do it too? For example, I was coughing. He make a fake cough, and then says "Mommy, I coughin' too?"
to run...walking is over-rated. Haven't you heard?
milk. This boy would drink milk everyday, all day if he could.
Hot Wheels cars...he races them, crashes them, and talks to them.
his daddy - daddy's boy all the way.
his mommy - we love to cuddle and watch TV.
Dora and Deigo and Mickey Mouse.
sleep and nap.
bath time.
his cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents.
At 2 Caleb can...
count to 10 (who needs 3, 7 and 10 anyway?!?!)
say most of his colors.
tell you where we get milk (cow) and where the cow lives (farm).
tell you what color a school bus is, and where is goes (schoo...no "l" needed).
jump. run, skip and gallop.
At 2 Caleb is...
about 26 pounds.
wears a size 5 diapers.
wears 2T shirts and 24 months/2T pants.
wears a size 5 1/2 or 6 shoe.
At 2 Caleb is not a fan of...
food - we struggle daily to get him to eat.
being told "no."
And I have to do this...

Birthday Weekend
It is so hard for me to believe that my baby will be 2 tomorrow. It seems just like yesterday that we were waiting on him to get here, and wondering what he would be like and who he would look like. I honestly don't remember life before Caleb. We have loved every minute of him, and we look forward to many more fabulous memories.
This weekend we celebrated Caleb's birthday with a baseball themed party. We had a TON of kids at our house, and I think everyone had a great time. I think I will let the pictures speak for themselves.

baby update
This pregnancy is flying by. I feel like it was just yesterday that we found out we were expecting. I am just about 14 weeks along (or will be Tuesday), and things are going well. There were a few weeks, OK, who am I kidding, it was about 2 months of being sick, and there is still some lingering sickness, but I feel like I have made it through the worst of it. This pregnancy has been quite different than Caleb's. Just to name a few....
1 - I was not sick AT ALL with Caleb.
2 - I was BEYOND exhausted with Caleb, and with this one, although I have been tired, it is just a tad bit more than normal. No walking zombie. :)
3 - With Caleb I would eat breakfast like a champ, lunch was negotiable, and dinner just didn't happen until around week 13. When I did eat I wanted only healthy foods. With this baby I feel like I eat all day, never really a meal, but it is nothing that is good for you and I can't get enough spicy and salty.
4 - I wore my regular clothes until I was 22 weeks with Caleb. With this baby lets just say I have already been able to use my maternity clothes. :)
There have been a few similarities, however...
1 - I didn't gain any weight with Caleb until week 21, and this one is on the same track. I lost 12 pounds in the first trimester with Caleb, and with this baby it is 8 so far.
2 - I am always thirsty. ALWAYS.
Anyway, I went to the doctor Thursday for an ultrasound. In my 8 week ultrasound they found a cyst. When they told me I freaked out, but the doctors (and nurses, and friends, and anyone else who would talk to me about this) have eased my fears and worries. The reason for the ultrasound Thursday was to re-check the cyst to make sure it had not grown. When they checked, the cyst was still there, but has shrunk considerably. YAY! Of course while they were there I asked them to look at the baby. I had forgotten how much a baby changes from 8 weeks to 14, but WOW! The last time I saw our baby it was a little peanut, and now it actually looks like a real baby! They tried to see if he/she would show its goods, but no such luck. We did get some pictures of this precious baby. Sorry it is kinda blury. I took a picture of the ultrasound with my camera. :)
I can't wait to find out what this little angel is!!! I am thinking we should find out right after Halloween!!!!!!
Next weekend we will celebrate Caleb's 2nd birthday. Pictures and funny stories to follow!
