Christmas Week and Weekend

**Warning: This is the second post of the weekend, so please make sure you keep scrolling down. Also, this is a long post. Can't say I didn't warn you!!!**

Merry Christmas!!! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! Our Christmas weekend was one to remember (or forget), that's for sure! We spent the beginning of the week doing different Christmas things. We went to Lenox Mall to ride the Pink Pig, but when we got there the wait was over 2 hours! Not my idea of fun with a 2 year old! Luckily Grandmommy was with us, so we still had a nice time shopping and having lunch. On Tuesday we went to a cookie swap at Caleb's cousims house, Sarah, Daniel and Lauren. Caleb had a good time playing with his cousins and swapping cookies. Unfortunately my camera died and I got not one single pictures. As you can see, I was 0 or 2...that should have been my hint as to what was coming...

Wednesday morning Caleb woke up with a little temperature and some major fussiness. Anyone who knows Caleb knows that this is not him. So off to the doctor we went. If he was sick, I wanted to nip it before our very busy Christmas weekend began Friday morning. Well, I am glad I took him in...poor baby had a sinus infection and a double ear infection that the doctor said she was surprised hadn't ruptured. Lovely. I was thinking how glad I was I got him in, and was able to get the meds in time for him to have them for him to recover and enjoy his Christmas...ha ha ha....who was I kidding? To make a long story short, Friday we are going all day...we go to lunch with all of Michael's family (30+ people) at 11:30. From there we come home and lay Caleb down for an hour or so before we have to be at church at 3:45. After church my entire family (30ish people) all gather for dinner and gifts. We don't usually get home until around 9:30ish. Well, Caleb obviously wasn't feeling as well as we thought he was, and he wanted no part of anyone at lunch except me and Michael. The rest of the day was no different with the exception of most of the night at my mom's house when Grandmommy and Davis could do no wrong. But, it was Christmas and we must keep going.... Here are a few pics from Christmas Eve...don't let the pictures fool you....these were rare, feelin' good moments...

Our church had a live Nativity....Caleb LOVED all of the animals...

petting the dove with Sara
cousin Savannah was there, too!

Obviously what mommy had to say was very important.

Christmas Eve at Grandmommy's house...I'm not sure if you can tell or not, but Caleb and Savannah have matching Christmas outfits....yes, we are those sisters. If Sara and Davis would have done it, they would have been in them too! :) This is the best picture we got...
All 4 Camuso grandchildren...aren't they handsome/beautiful!

And now, for the main event....Santa Claus came to our house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Santa brought Caleb a racetrack....he loves it!

helping Daddy open the movie Cars....
Santa also brought Caleb a remote control car, a V-Tech computer (Caleb calls it his pooter), and lots and lots of HotWheels cars...they go with his racetrack. Caleb only had eyes for his racetrack, and so the other gifts got a little neglected. They did get some attention later in the day. :)

And, sadly, yes, these are the only pictures I got of Christmas Day, 2010. Sadly, Caleb and I missed Christmas lunch at Granddad and Grandmother's house because Caleb wasn't feeling good. We picked up daddy to go to Uncle Craig and Aunt Kim's house to see everyone there, but we didn't stay too long...hopefully next Christmas will be much better. We know it will be crazier with a new baby sister coming! :)

Christmas Night it SNOWED! Yes, in Atlanta!!! Caleb was very excited about the snow, but remembering his reaction last year (he hated, no, LOATHED, the snow) mommy and daddy weren't expecting much! :) He talked a good talk...even looking out the window with great anticipation....

He even acted like this was the year...it was going to happen...

He even helped daddy throw a snowball at mommy....
and smiled for a picture with daddy
He kept saying "look at all the pretty snow! It made a mess!!"
But then he got cold. And this is the picture we got of Caleb and mommy.
And this is what happened when we got inside...
One tired, ear and sinus infected, little boy!

Merry Christmas!!!!!

Pregnancy Update

I keep saying this, but this pregnancy is FLYING by! I can't believe I am almost 26 weeks pregnant!!! I am feeling OK, but this pregnancy has proven to be a little more difficult than my pregnancy with Caleb for a number of reasons. For one, I still don't really have an appetite, but when I get hungry WATCH OUT!! I feel like I am much bigger this time around, but I am actually measuring about a 1/2 week smaller. With Caleb I was consistently 2 weeks ahead. I am also carrying Abby much different that I carried Caleb. I am the book version of the differences betweeen how you carry boys and girls. With Caleb I was very high and straight out. People teased me that I stole a basketball from one of my kids. With Abby I am very low, and she is all around. Anyway, enough with my ramblings...I saw this on someone else's blog, and thought I would give it a whirl, too! :)

Pregnancy Highlights:
How Far Along: 25 weeks and 5 days
Size of baby: According to babycenter.com, Abby weighs about a pound and a half and measures about 13 inches long. She is the size of an average rutabaga.
Total Weight Gain/Loss: I have lost weight at every appointment so far (thanks to no appetite and being sick), but at my last appointment I finally gained 2 pounds. However, I am still under my pre-pregnancy weight by about 5 pounds.
Maternity Clothes: I am in all maternity pants (excepts for sweats and pj pants) and almost all shirts. However, I am finding that some of my sweaters still fit for the time being. :)
Gender: A sweet baby girl - Abigail Susan aka: Abby
Movement: She moves a good bit, but not nearly as much as her brother did.
Sleep: What's that? I have horrible insomnia. I am dog tired, and can fall asleep, but it something wakes me up (like a bathroom visit) it's over for a few hours.
What I miss: Sleeping through the night :)
Cravings: Nothing right now, however, it was buffalo wings, hot and salad with Italian Dressing...enough to swim around in. :)
Symptoms: tiredness, moodiness (don't cross me these days) and some serious Braxton Hicks.
Best Moment this week: hearing her heartbeat, passing my Glucose test, and all of the wonderful Christmas presents Abby got from our families!

Here is a belly shot from 23 weeks - sorry - I will take another one soon. They are harder to get with a baby running around, too! :)

Caleb's first UGA game

We took Caleb to his first UGA game. He LOVED it!!! It was the one day was have had this month that has been freezing!!!! We were all bundled up, as you can see in the pictures. We went with my family, and so Caleb was overjoyed to have Davis with him. Those 2 boys really love each other. :) We had intended to leave around half-time, but Caleb was good to go. We ended up leaving at the beginning of the 4th quarter because I thought I was going to freeze to death!!!

Watching the "bootball" players on the field. This is how he watched the majority of the game. Seriously.

In other news, we have named baby girl!!! Baby Anderson #2 will be Abigail Susan, and we will call her Abby. Abigail is a name I have always loved, and I think Abby Anderson is just TOO cute! :) Susan is my middle name and my mom's middle name, but is what my mom goes by. So her name is extra special to her Grandmommy! We have been planning away for Abby; we have already bought her bedding and decided on what color to paint her room. We have also bought Caleb his "big boy room" furniture and are slowly deciding what to do with it. Our plan is to have him in there by Christmas break...we'll see. :)

It's a....

GIRL!!!!!!!!

Michael and I went to the doctor this morning, and found out our precious baby is a GIRL!!! We are over the moon happy, and can't wait to meet her. Her name is still in the works, but as soon as we have named her I will make it known! Big brother, Caleb, told me he wanted a dog when I asked him if he wanted a sister. Oh well - we have a few months to get him used to the idea of her! :)

Halloween Weekend

**WARNING: This is a LONG post! Enjoy!**
We had a wonderful, busy weekend! We had a lot of family time, and Caleb is at the age where he understands what we are doing and has a BLAST! I know I have said this 10,000 times, but he is so much fun and brings to much joy to our lives!

On Saturday we went to CornDawgs. Corndawgs is a corn maze/pumpkin patch/kids paradise not too far from our house. We went last year, and Caleb was OK with it, but this year it was totally different. He was big enough to do some of the fun things, and the things he wasn't quite big enough for daddy stepped up and did it with him. Here are some pictures of our fun morning at Corndawgs!

The first activity we did was the cow train....Caleb was NOT a fan, but thinking he would love it once it got stated, we kept him on it for the ride. This is the before picture...

Well, we weren't right. Caleb HATED it! The man said he cried most of the time, and when they pulled back up Caleb was screaming "MY DADDY!!!!" Opps. He never let got of the side. Ever.
After the cow train he headed over to the slides. They had built this HUGE hill, and they had built 3 slides. Michael took Caleb down 2 of them. One of the slides was a tunnel, and mommy and daddy were nervous to let him go down that even though he kept saying "tunnel slide," because Michael couldn't go with him. More on that later :)
After the slides we hit up some of the other activities like the the playground, hay tunnel, kiddie corn maze, corn box, and the petting zoo.

going down the slide
going through the hay tunnel with daddyCaleb and daddy climbed to the top of the hay stack
Caleb and mommy on the hay stack
the goats LOVED daddy
"Look at the oats!" aka "Look a the goats!"
kiddie corn maze that was made of pine straw :)
corn box

riding the bikes with daddy

and all by myself :)
After all that fun it was time to go. As we were leaving Caleb was still talking about the tunnel slide, so we thought we could divert him to the other 2 slides. Yea...not so much. Michael and Caleb climbed the hill, and Caleb sat himself down and went down that slide all by himself. Needless to say HE.LOVED.IT! He went down it at least 5 times, and was upset when we had to go. Opps - guess we should have let him go down earlier...

Then Sunday was "the day." We had been talking to Caleb about Halloween and trick-or-treating all week, but he still wasn't quite sure. All he knew was that he wanted a sucker and M&Ms. This year Caleb was Mickey Mouse. If I say so myself he was the cutest Mickey I have ever seen. The first few houses he wasn't sure and made Michael and me say trick-or-treat, but by about the 4th or 5th house he was good to go. By the end of the night he didn't even want us coming to the door with him!!! Caleb's cousin, Savannah, joined us as Minnie Mouse. Minnie didn't love her ears. Caleb's friend, Matthew, also joined us a gorilla.

a very excited and precious Mickey Mouse

There's a Party in Your City!

Saturday afternoon, Michael and I took Caleb to his first concert...Yo Gabba Gabba! Caleb loves Yo Gabba Gabba, and so when the tickets went on sale in May we were the first to buy our tickets. :) We went with my sister, Russ, and Savannah, as well as 3 other families and their children. I was worried Caleb was going to freak out with the noise and screaming, and he did at first, but once he saw who it was and they started singing familiar songs, he was good to go. He sat, for the entire hour and a half (plus a 20 minute intermission) and watched in pure amazement. My sister had shirts made for he and Savannah, and so they looked the part and had a blast! Here are some pictures from Caleb's first concert. :)

The concert began...

We had a great time, and are already talking about the next concert or show we can take Caleb to see!

Just a side note: I made a poll on the right hand side for yall to make a prediction about what gender you think baby 2 is...we find out November 3rd!!!!! Take a guess!

2 years old

Yesterday my baby turned 2. I can hardly believe it. He is such and blessing to Michael and I. We love him more than we thought ever possible. He is growing up to be such a loving, funny, and talkative little boy. I could go on and on about this little boy, so I won't bore you with all that. :)

I do, however, want to let you know what a 2 year old Caleb is up to...
At 2, Caleb loves...
BASEBALL - he plays ALL.DAY.LONG!
to talk...he loves to talk about anything and everything. His newest phrase is I do it too? For example, I was coughing. He make a fake cough, and then says "Mommy, I coughin' too?"
to run...walking is over-rated. Haven't you heard?
milk. This boy would drink milk everyday, all day if he could.
Hot Wheels cars...he races them, crashes them, and talks to them.
his daddy - daddy's boy all the way.
his mommy - we love to cuddle and watch TV.
Dora and Deigo and Mickey Mouse.
sleep and nap.
bath time.
his cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents.

At 2 Caleb can...
count to 10 (who needs 3, 7 and 10 anyway?!?!)
say most of his colors.
tell you where we get milk (cow) and where the cow lives (farm).
tell you what color a school bus is, and where is goes (schoo...no "l" needed).
jump. run, skip and gallop.

At 2 Caleb is...
about 26 pounds.
wears a size 5 diapers.
wears 2T shirts and 24 months/2T pants.
wears a size 5 1/2 or 6 shoe.

At 2 Caleb is not a fan of...
food - we struggle daily to get him to eat.
being told "no."

And I have to do this...

Here is Caleb minutes old.
And our 1 year old baby...

And here is our 2 year old baby....

Happy Birthday, Caleb! We love you SOOOO much!
