Jennifer typically does all of the writing for our blog, but I thought I would steal a little bit of space to tell her thank you.
Thank you for being the wife that you are. Thank you for being the mother to Caleb that you are. Thank you for all of the things you do that I fail to show enough appreciation for. Thank you for always putting Caleb first. Thank you for making me a better person.
Words may not be able to really describe what you mean to us. Caleb is such a miracle and to watch him laugh, smile and look and you with so much love only makes me love you more. I hope you always remember that you are my one and only.
We both love you!

Baptisim, 4th month check-up, oatmeal and Johnny Jump-a-roo!
WOW! We have had a very busy few days!!! Here is a summary of our last few days...
On Sunday Caleb was baptized at our church, Canon United Methodist. It was a very special occasion for me and Michael, and Caleb was WONDERFUL! We were so lucky to have my entire family there, most of the Anderson's and a few friends. During the opening prayer decided he would blow bubbles for the congregation to hear and see his new trick. It was pretty funny. During the baptism, they light a candle telling the child they are the light of to world, and let me tell you -- Caleb WANTED THAT CANDLE. He was reaching out for it and Amy got it blown out just in time! They also put salt in his mouth telling him that he is the salt of the Earth and he could have cared less...I was really expecting a reaction out of that. :) After the baptism, Michael and I had everyone back to our house for BBQ. It was a great day! Here are a few pictures from the baptism and some of Caleb in his outfit -- I loved his outfit, but Michael called it "girly." Whatever. :)
weight - 14.45 lbs (33%)
height - 25.5 in. (66%)
head - 16.5 in. (36%)
That is about 2.5 lbs in a month which is OUTSTANDING for our skinny boy. The Dr. was very please and the meds for his reflux are obviously working! YEA!
Lastly, we have been waiting for a while now to break out the Johnny Jump-a-roo that Elizabeth (Michael's cousin) is letting us borrow. I call it that, because that is what my mom says they are called -- who knows. :) Well, we got it out the other night and Caleb LOVED it!! He wasn't so sure of what to do when we first put him in it, but once he got the hang it he loved it. Here are some pics of his new adventure! Thanks to Elizabeth and Sarah for letting us borrow their super cool toy!!!
I have to share this picture Michael took of Caleb the other night right after he got out of the tub...that's our precious baby boy!

The actual baptism.
Chillin' in my crib in my "girly" outfit! :)
On Monday we took Caleb for his 4 month check-up. He did a great job with his shots and only cried like his dog died for a few minutes. The Dr. said that we could go ahead and start him on oatmeal 3 times a day. So far so good! We are mixing it with a little applesauce -- that stuff is N-A-S-T-Y -- and he seems to really like that. At 5 months, we can start to introduce him to fruits and veggies, and at his 6 month appointment we can discuss tapering off of the meds (PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!!!!). We broke out the high chair, and Caleb looks so tiny!!! Here are his "stats" from the appointment:weight - 14.45 lbs (33%)
height - 25.5 in. (66%)
head - 16.5 in. (36%)

4 months old!!
It is so hard for us to believe that our little man is 4 months old. Time has just flown by!! Caleb is such a blessing. He is becoming so much fun with his developing personality. He has grown so much in the last month, it amazes us so much!!
At 4 months, Caleb is loving...
...to smile - he is such a happy baby
...talking and squealing
...taking a bath - I truly think this is his most favorite thing to do.
...sucking on his hand, toys, anything.
...Elmo...he gets so excited!
...chewing on his toys.
...sitting in his bumbo.
...looking around.
...The Weather Channel.
...rolling to his side and back (he has NO interest in rolling from tummy to back or back to tummy).
...smiling when he sees mommy or daddy.
...sitting up. No more laying down for Mr. Caleb!
I could go on and on about Caleb and things he does, but I don't want to bore you.
Last night Caleb had a first. HE SAT UP!!! He was on my lap and was so proud of himself. Enjoy the pics!

Growing Baby Boy!
That picture pretty much sums up Caleb these days -- happy!! He is becoming so much fun with his developing personality. :) He is growing and changing so much these days -- it amazes me to go back and look at pictures from just 4 months ago -- he has changed so much!
This past weekend we celebrated Aunt Mary Evelyn's 23rd birthday at the Anderson's. Caleb loved seeing his family. They always love on him so much -- he loves kisses! Here are a few pics from the birthday party.

Update
I know it has been a long time since I have posted, but life as a working mom & wife is not easy!! By the time I get home, all I want to do is spend time with Michael and Caleb. The weekends are the same. Also most of our free time has not been free. We have been so so busy!
Caleb is still changing every day!! He is becoming more and more aware of his surroundings. He gets excited when he see's Michael or me, and shows it with a HUGE smile and starts kicking those little legs! He is grabbing for everything around him (he loves earrings, hair and necklaces!) and gets so excited when he finally gets a hold of whatever it is he is going after. He has also discovered his furry brother, Buddy the cat. And let me tell you -- HE WANTS THE CAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He tries to grab his tail and his fur, but he just can't quite get there. :) Buddy has no idea what his life is about to turn into...
We also think we have FINALLY gotten Caleb's reflux under control. It only took changing his formula, bottles and medication, but he isn't spitting up any more!! YEA! You can really tell he is gaining. That is so exciting for Michael and I to see!
Caleb is staying with Grandmommy and things there are going well. I like being able to call as many times as I want in a day and no one thinks I am being the crazy, obsessed mother (which I know I am!). It is such a comfort knowing that Caleb is being loved and cared for just like I want him to be. I have no worries about him, excpet for the 10,000 I have no matter what!
Here are some recent pictures we took of Caleb. He LOVES his Bumbo and today we put the tray on so he can play with toys while he sits. He is getting so big!
Such a big boy!!
Hey! Whose that good lookin' fella?!?!
Jennifer the photographer (ha ha, yeah right!)
Grabbing for those toys...
I droll ALL the time, so I make the best of it and blow bubbles....
Silly kitty thinks I want to share my toys....
I still LOVE my paci!
